LG and Volkswagen Unite To Create Innovation In Automotive Electronic Control
LG and Volkswagen have just signed a deal which will see them enter into a new venture. This venture could potentially bring a wave of innovation to the car market in regards to automobile electronic integration.
The systems in development will use cloud technology to enable the driver of the car to control numerous different electronical devices both with in the car and at home, all from the comfort of the driver’s seat.
Throughout the next few years, the two companies will focus on developing interlinking technology that will allow the driver to monitor and even control smart devices in their homes. This will include things such as domestic appliances, security systems and even lighting – No more worrying because one of the kids left the lights on!
There are even reports that the new systems will be able to provide recommendations on how to optimise performance and energy saving.

LG have been involved in the motor industry for a while, and have been creating, providing and supplying visual and audio products for motors since 2007. This means that LG have already been established as a reputable and reliable brand for technological integration into motor vehicles. But with this new venture in partnership with Volkswagen, LG could potentially top the leader board for automobile technological innovation.
Italdesign Guigaro, is a design and engineering company that is based in Italy. At this year’s Geneva Motor Show they unveiled a new concept car that had many of its main components supplied to them by LG Electronics. These components included an integrated Smart watch, Tail lighting, rear parking cameras and even a holographic display.
